    Default White fuzz

Anybody else noticing the white fuzz on Fireweed and some garden crops? It looks like a dense cotton puff but it's saturated with liquid. Obviously a bug of some sort. We're seeing it on our cabbage and it's on most of the Fireweed in south Anch. So far no plant damage in the garden but we're curious what it may develop into.

Haven't seen it up north that I know of, though going by description is more difficult than having a picture.

Is it tent caterpillars? Leaf miners?

You sure its not just cotton blown on the plants and wetted by the rain, from all the cottonwood trees in the area... A guy next door had something like that and asked me to look at his garden, it was just cotton. If not and you can see little buggies around it, post a picture I would like to see it.

    Mr. Pib
Are you seeing a small cluster of bubbles? With a worm inside?

I don't know if there was a worm. Its way too late to know now, after the frosts. Winter is coming way too fast!
