Default Upper Kenai float next week?

Question / open seat notification. Anyone want to float the upper next week? Also, for targeting bows, what suggestions for flies does anyone have? Thanks!

What section of the river are you floating? If Sportsman's to Jim's then egg and flesh is your best bet. If your floating the middle then I would bet leeches are the key.

well if Heather wasn't here I would go, to much going on right now, I would hold off on the upper for reds but bows should be good. The lower in Soldotna just picked up monday so we have a week before they start showing up in good numbers up there.

All I hear is blah blah blah, Just make her go fish too! haha j/k. Yea I was mostly going to target bows and just try and hit some reds right after I launch, hit the guardrail and a little up from there and just see what happens. I need to get used to using my new pin rod and get ready for september!

You can't go wrong with Zilla. On a side note the guys at Alaska Fly Fishing Goods ordered some of the supplies I needed, so I should have those done by the end of next week.

I am going to try and get Satuday off of work and float the middle. I haven't done it yet so hopefully It will go smoothly! Best of luck this weekend!
