    Default Kenai Weekend Forecast

OTF was really high yesterday but has dropped back down to the 40's - weather is going to cooperate with us -

Tonight...N wind 10 kt. Seas 2 ft. Rain showers. .Wed...S wind 10 kt increasing to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas 4 ft. .Wed night...S wind 20 kt. Seas 6 ft. .Thu...SW wind 25 kt. Seas 8 ft. .Thu night...SW wind 20 kt. Seas 6 ft. .Fri through sun...SW wind 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

Good SW winds the later part of the week. EO #13 opens it up tomorrow so we may get some stragglers this weekend but I wouldn't bank on really hot escapement. Dipping should be better this weekend than the opener.

I'm banking on it . . . well, hoping for the best.

What days are the commercials out right now? Mondays and Thursdays?

Comm fish hotline 1-907-262-9611. This number will give you info on sonar counts, OTF index, openers and any EO's announced.
