Where in Anchorage to get trolling herring?

Alaska Bait Company doesn't have trolling herring in yet, and the two bait shops in Whittier didn't have any in last weekend. Where are you getting yours?

I haven't checked lately, but have you tried B&J Commercial? I imagine they would have some. They're located in a strip mall on the corner of N. Lights and C, on the C Street side of the building.

Very familiar with B&J, except that I didn't remember that they sold bait. I called and they do have trolling herring, though none from this year's catch. But hey, some trolling herring is better than no trolling herring. Thanks for the tip.

Fred Meyers Northern Lights had herring today. Trolling size, not for halibut
tho.
