Thread: New .22

    Default New .22

Picked up .22 off a fella on the forum a few weeks ago.
CZ 452 with the long barrel. Really nice rifle. First .22 rifle I have bought. Really was looking to give it to my son but it might be a bit big for him just yet
These were all shot with the cheap Federal blue box bulk ammo.

Shot the yellow target 25yds (5 shots) and the other one at 50 yds (10 shots). Can't tell you how much fun shooting with the little guy.
Still waiting for the trigger kit that I hope will shrink the groups.

I have the same CZ 22 rifle. What trigger package did you order? I could use one too.

Does that one have the "backwards" safety? I really like the CZ .22s except for that feature. I will never understand why they designed it like that.

This looked like the best kit for the cost:

I hope to reduce the pull some and but mostly the creep.

Theres a few youtube videos on installing the kit. Don't have the link right now though.

I thought it was a little funny. I usually don't use safeties but I had to work it a couple of times and thought it was strange. Now that I think of it it is backwards. Guess thats Eastern block thinkin'?

Haha, yeah we won the Cold War because their safeties are backwards! They could never stage an invasion because their soldiers couldn't figure out how to shoot their guns!!! LOL!!
