    Default Trip in August

Hello all, I may be making a trip up to Alaska in late August. I have been up once before and fished for silvers on the Matenuska and Beluga Lake. This time when I come up I have a new type of rod with me. This time I will be bringing up the fly rod. I would love to fish for trout as well as silvers. What would be some good places to get some trout? I do know of Willow creek and Montana creek. Thank you for the responses!

    -Thank you

Any of the Parks Highway streams should do well for trout during that time. They will be looking for decaying flesh and eggs since much of the salmon run is done and those fish have spawned and since died. An egg or flesh pattern would work well, and has for me in the past.
