    Default Trout/grayling/dolly fishing around McCarthy(?)

Heading to McCarthy with the fam for the 4th of July wknd -- I've been getting my 3 y.o. daughter psyched for fishing and was wondering if anyone knows of any decent lakes/streams in the Chitina to McCarthy area that we could throw a line in (NOT the Copper River!).

If all else fails, I'll take her to Hope in a few weeks for pinks.

    Thanks for any advice!!

    Default silver lake

silver lake at ten mile mcarthy road has real good rainbow fishing...right off the dock. also three mile and two mile lakes before you get to chitina have decent rainbow fishing...as well as the big lake right in chitina there. shouldnt be hard to catch rainbows in any of those lakes. good luck..hope your little girl gets alot!
They say its unsafe to own a gun, I say its unsafe to have only one!!!

Hey, thanks so much -- really appreciate the advice.! We will be checking those places out and I'll post some pics if we get into the fish.
