    Default Hi-low beams

has anyone wire their Highs and lows so they work together? I'm looking at doing it on a Sportsman 500. Thought it would be good to have them all working when plowing snow. Or whenever it happens to be dark!

    Default Did My Sportsman 700

I bought a kit on ebay for around $10, shipping included. When I turn the switch on low just the front lights come on. When on High all three are on. It works great! Lots of light!

Here is a link where there going for $4 and shipping is free:

    Thumbs up

The only thing you need is a diode which can be bought at Radio Shack. This link will give you instructions how to do it as well as the reverse over ride mod (so you don't have to hold down the yellow button to have power). Good mods!

kind of off topic here, but, my high beams work like crap. is that normal? i think i can see further with my low beams than with my highs. my high beams are pretty much a big donut of light, with a big black hole i the middle.

i just bought my first quad, moved to alaska just a few weeks ago. i'm riding a bombardier outlander.

Check with the dealer to see if the beam can be focused. Also, depending on the light setup, the bulb may not be properly seated in the reflector.
