    Question Klutina timing question (reds)

I am going to be in the area around the middle of August and was wondering if it was still possible to catch reds at that time and if they would still be in good shape? I was there at the end of July once and there seemed to be a lot good reds still there but I was wondering how late the run goes? Thanks in advance.

The middle of July is the latest I've ever gone so I can't comment on the end of the run.

    Default Timing

The latest I have fished Klutina is the 10th of August and it was pretty good. The best part of that time is usually all the people are gone. Everyone in concentrating on the Silvers in Valdez.

    Default Reds in August

You can definetly get nice, barley blushed reds towards the end of July well into August. I think especially this year since the fish seem to be lagging behind throughout most of the state, it will be as good as anywhere else.
