Default Tomorrow off...where should I go fishing??

My family abandoned me for a few days and work is slow, so I'm looking to go fishing tomorrow. Problem is I'm not sure what the best bet for a day trip from Anchorage is. I'm willing to leave tonight, early morning, whatever to get the driving out of the way.

I was thinking about Resurrection River in Seward, but the latest reports are pretty bad. NOT doing the Russian River. Just isn't my thing.

Any suggestions? I'm targeting salmon from shore. Unless someone else is going out on a boat and they have room, in which case I'd pay my share for gas and whatnot and fish for whatever there is to fish for.

There is always the Parks Hwy streams. + Little Su.
Don't know the fish reports but any day of fishing is better than a day at work.
    Going to in-between runs soon.

Best look at the regs as I believe most of the parks streams closed to fishing till the weekend

All park streams are open from 1/2 mile above the highway and up for fishing. Only trout, grays, and dollies though, no salmon.
