Ill be up there tonight and tomorrow, will post reports. Not expecting it to be too hot as we will only be fishing the upper from Parks to Millers. Don't even know if they're that high but any bad day of fishing beats a good day at work right?

    Default not the Deshka

Fished the Deshka early this morning, 3 rods, several hours, saw no fish anywhere, except 2 at the cleaning table caught by two guys fishing way upstream after bouncing through rocks. There was no crowd at the landing, no horde of boats at the mouth. Ain't worth the drive or the fees.

    Default Little Su/ Montana Creek

Floated the upper part of the Little Su last night and fished parts of it this morning. There was one decent sized king that kept jumping below the railroad bridge and kept us there for a little while. My cousin asked me to take her fishing, it was her first time fishing in a while and first time fly fishing none the less and I wanted to get her on atleast one fish. After no luck on the Su I asked if she wanted to head up to Montana and she was up for it. We headed to the mouth only to find a ton of people so we got out of the crowd (mainly because she wasn't prime on her casting). I hooked into one but it broke lose, a few minutes later she hooked into one and landed it, it was just a very small jack and we just released it. She was using a purple weighted ESL tied on a size 2/0 hook, just casted out and let it dead drift. We stayed a little bit later but she needed to make it home in time for dinner. Shes going to kill me for posting this picture but I can take it.
