I knew the fish number question was coming. It was not a charter. It was a fun run so 6 people were on the boat. Marvin, his son and the other 4 of us.

Plus them is good chickens. 3 @ 45lbs the smallest was 17

This 59 inch chicken came over the rail Saturday. In general there have been alot of large fish caught this week in Ninilchik. Now is the time! I am back to my real job this week but there are alot of other great guides down there. Have fun.

Hogs are preferred by many... but chickens have dibs over skunk by all.

    Thumbs up +1 Ebbtide Charters...

Ours was a family trip in late May; our first fishing outing this season.
Of course, we'd been looking forward to it quite awhile - remember winter?

Marvin had us on the fish all day.
At one point, I figured my daughter would beg off reeling another one in, but... she never did. None of us did.

The next day's muscle soreness... was the good kind.
    Perfect workout.

Polebender, we'll have to go double or nothing next time. Maybe we should go biggest fish and overall weight? That was quite a load of fish you pulled this weekend. You should post that picture.

    Default Ebbtide

Sent my daughter and her boyfriend with Ebbtide last year. They had a great time and really enjoyed fishing with Marvin and his son. Super nice boat also!

Default Capt. and deck hand can keep a limit

My mistake I didn't know the deck hands could keep limits of fish on charters. I thought there was a rule of not doing that . SORRY MY FAULT

It wasn't a charter, it was a bunch of guys having fun and catching fish. Yes, I believe you are correct on capt/deckhands can't, but if no clients, no problem with enjoying water and catching fish

For some reason they (halibut higher powers) changed it back to the way it was, the captain and the deck hand are allowed to catch a limit so far this year in Southcentral. I am sure that could change anytime though.
