    no prob, ive caught kings ("prince's") before thats why it says ("real") but nothing over 20 lbs, quite a few jacks, the biggest was 20 just the other day other than that 2-12 pounders, def was a blast landing that one!

    Nice piggy 900. Ive still yet to get my first AK king...lots of WA ones below 30 though. Did you get him on flygear?

    no i live in silver run, my buddy lives in cherry hill, he just had a freeser big enough for it to fit in gonna get a mount done on it, and i know i know its not that huge but a trophy in my books! and caught it on a vibrax!

    Right on man! I would say that is definately a respectable mount. Just workin Ship Creek to get a king of any size is an accomplishment in itself.

    ......................... yes it was a BLUE #6, the only one i use for kings. caught a 3lb'er and a 16 incher on it, but dont tell no one its a secret lol. i had one 2 days ago that was a monster and would come off the botom and just as i was getting him closer to shore he spit the hook!

    Nice Fish! Good for you. I can not stand playing around in that Ship Creek mud. My first AK King was one about the same size out of Montana Creek.

    Congrats and it looks like it is time to update your sig line stats!

    Been 20 years since my first king but it was 65lbs and took me a looong time to haul in. I actually haven't pulled another one in as large as that first one in all these years either. I caught it at the willow back when you had to hike in to darn place. A few years later they made it handicapped accessible so the alcoholics could wheel their beer coolers right to the waters edge. Amazing how much money the state spent to destroy a great place to fish.

    Nice fish! I just got back from a 5 day float out of lake creek and saw quite a few fish caught, I only ended up with a Jack and a TON of bows and grayling. I couldn't keep the bows off the #6 Anyways, I am in silver run also, if you need someone to split some gas money for a trip north or south send me a PM. Tight Lines!!
