    Question monashka kings

Anyone have any experience catching the stocked kings in Monashka bay. I tried for a while this morning on the rising tide. Waded quite a ways out. seems pretty shallow to me. I was using a larger size croc. spoon fishing the surf in the deeper water near the creek bed. Not sure where they catch them at. Judging by the fact I was the only one out there it must be a little early yet. Did pick up a couple of nice dollies. Any advice? Can PM also.
Experience is a hard teacher because you get the test first and the lesson afterwards.

It's just early right now but they should be showing up in monoshaka as well as olds and american soon. when they are there they cruise around quite a bit so you can catch them from one end of the beach to the other. when they are there is fool proof... see fish jump or school cast to school....obviously the mouth is a good spot but like i said you can catch them all along there its just a matter of finding the crusing fish

So do those large Kroc spoons work for kings?
I always carry a couple of 3oz with me for surf casting.

Did you have any success with the krocs when the fish finally showed?
