    Default glock armorer?

So, who's the Glock smith in Alaska?

Either Anchorage or Fairbanks would be fine as I get to both cities frequently. I have a G29 needing re-barreled and Id like to have a competent gunsmith look at it.

    Thanks

    Default New barrel

    Kelvin,

I'd suggest buying a new barrel for your Glock. I'm guessing you can get one for <$200.00

    You might try the following:

I've been looking at various aftermarket barrels. Most claim to be drop-in, and Im sure they are. Im just thinking if I need to replace the barrel, it wouldnt hurt to have a pro look at it.

    Thanks!

I'm in Fairbanks and have been through the Glock Armorers course 4 times. Once every 3 years to keep certification. Just PM me and I'll get you squared away when you are in FBKS.

There is almost nothing about a Glock that requires an armorer. Barrels are drop-in replacment. There is no fitting required unless you get some low-grade aftermarket job.

Ditto what Joat said. I think two or three of our guys are "Glock Armorers" for whatever that is worth, which probably aint much, since even I can do a Glock
