I was going to go, but with the low numbers I might be sitting this one out until middle of next week.

I was kinda thinking that we should start a post about carpooling to the opener. Heck why not have it here. If ya got a open spot in your ride.

Im not heading down but whoever goes i want a report

I was planning on going tomorrow, but it looks like no fish? Think there's still gonna be crowds down there, or might there even be open campsites?

anyone ever park on the curve (by the keni) to avoid paying the parking fee? i walked way down there last year and seen allot of people fishing from that side and parked by the road.. is that legal? or is there another parking spot thats free ?

The last report I got... Nothing is FREE.

Actually if you drive down the road just a little further there is a pull out on the left where it is legal to park. Unfortunatly, it is usually full, if the river is full.

    I'm not!

If I went that direction at all, I'd fish Bing's or maybe even lower. Doesn't sound like many fish are actually at the Russian yet.

As it is, I'm stuck working this weekend so I can dipnet at the Copper next week. Have fun, good luck, and drive safe everyone!
