I think if I were there I would not shoot till I got a better look.

With nothing on the line, it kinda looks like a black to me.

Just looking at the facial profile of ears and muzzle, looks griz to me.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

    Just a little background-
Thats a 30 gallon drum and the bottum is 3' off the ground.
The camera is 10 yards from the barrel.
I already harvested a 6'6" cinnamon boar from this bait 3 days before these pics.
    Here are 2 more pics.
I dont intend to arrow this one. I think its a Grizz too.

My bet is on grizz, do you have any pics of the cinnamon you shot? Sounds like an awesome bear would love to see pics of it!

That looks grizz to me, facial features wise in particular.

I honestly cannot tell from these pictures. In the first picture posted, I would have definitely said grizzly but the first picture on the second post makes me wonder. Becasue of the light, I can't tell for sure and would not put an arrow in it.

I'd love to see the picture of the cinnamon also.

    Default Grizz

I can't say 100% due to lighting/shadows, but I'm 95% sure it's a grizz. I have to agree with some of the earlier posts about the muzzle shape/size being the determining factor. It would probably be real obvious what it was if you were in your stand and no doubt you'd make the right decision at that time.

Congrats on that big cinnamon you mentioned. Let's see those pics too!

    Post That's a Grizz

The muzzle is the biggest determining factor for me.

I agree, let's see that big color phase.

    Default profile

Hump profile is kinda flat, muzzle is fairly small from what I can see, Ears seem to be laying out perpendicular from the head giving it a low profile.

I'm leaning towards Black Bear honestly with a slight level of uncertainty.
