Default Unit 7 Seward brown bear tag/problem bears

I have a Unit 7 Seward area brown bear tag (DB 301) that I have to use by the 15th. Anybody hear of any problem or nuisance bears in the area?

Assuming you don't find any problem bears to go hunt, go take a hike. Hike the Lost Lake trail, the Crescent Lake/Carter Lake trail, and the Upper Russian Lake trail. If you cover some miles, you'll find a bear. It would be a shame to not make use of that permit.

    Default Good Tag

Thats a good tag, with plenty of opportunity if your willing to work.
Saw sign of a big one last weekend, heres a pic. For reference, thats a size 12 boot in the picture...
