Default should I plant grass seed in the rain

We're finally getting a decent rain here in Palmer! I have an established lawn with bare and thin spots. Can or should I spread grass seed in the rain, or wait until it stops?

It needs water to germinate. Yes, plant in the rain and keep it watered.

    Default Rain

The only thing to be careful of when planting grass seed in the rain is that it may float away and bunch up in spots.
It works if you are overseeding in pre-existing grass or have some hay or something down to keep it still.
    That is just my experience.
    Good luck
