    Default Deshka Landing Question

My buddy and I are planning to run his boat to the Deshka tomorrow (6-4) at o'but-thirty in the morning. Does anyone know when the landing is open to launch? Just curious as it is private and I assume that they have posted opened/closed hours for launching.

    Thanks,
    Tim

Here's their SITE....Looks like with a CC you can launch 24/7....

They have a visa machine to let you in when they are not present.

Thanks. That didn't take long. Looks like they'll be open when we get there.

Are there pike in the Deshka? Not a lot of kings up that way.

Yep. Look for sloughs and slow water, pike will be there.....I've caught 'em from Petersville to pretty much the mouth of Deshka....Kill 'em all.

Yea, I just say Akres' thread about laying off kings. My head and ***** must have been inverted as forgot about the earlier reports of no commercial catching north of the Chuitna. Buddy and I are looking to run the boat regardless and would be happy to hammer the pike instead, just don't want to go all the way down to Alexander.

    TCCAK,
Post a pic of the rainbows and the pike you slayed. Thanks for helping out the salmon.
