Kerosene in an alcohol stove
Up front, other than an injury to my pride, this ends well. I refuellled one of my denatured alcohol fuel canisters with kerosene over the weekend. As one of my friends likes to say, "reading is fundamental." The good news is I got around to reading the kerosene can well before bringing a flame to the fuel canister. So I got home and burned off the kerosene.
So now I'm looking for advise. Anyone have thoughts on the risks involved in using denatured alcohol in the fuel can and using it again? I'm thinking about a little off-the-boat test on the driveway...
