    Default canoe

That sure sucks I have had it happen several time with canoes I have stashed at lakes. I would check craigslist and call in tradio kfar 660 a few times. File a report with troopers and let us know any serial numbers and any features that would make it stand out.

roskopcoe - post this same thread on some of the other forums on this site such as: kayaking, flyfishing, alaska camping, swap or sell, lost and found, ..., and more pictures help. Also, go to the "akflyfishnetwork", "craigslist", and some of the bulletin boards in town, (in Anchorage: REI, Barney's, Sportsman, ...). Include pictures w/ the bulletin board postings. Good luck.

I saw your boat on the Chena. Some guy and girl had it on a jeep.

Not sure if it's the same one, the gunnel is a different color

I can't send PM's for some reason but if someone know's how to get in touch with the original poster, it could be worth looking at, or it could be nothing at all.

Looks like the same color (black) gunnel on both from what I can see. Would be a good one to check in on for sure.

seanc, I got a PM to the OP so hopefully it's linked to his email also if he's not checking here,

that seems really priced low, for a canoe like that $200?

Oooh Nooo.. that is one of my greatest fears. I will keep an eye out..I live in that area. If i see it around, i will grab the plate nuber, or address.....It's bound to come up....You already have 1,000 views on your thread, which means, 1000 people have seen your canoe and know it's stolen

To the OP, I've got a copy of the ad and phone # on my computer here, if it was deleted and you can't find it anymore

Not to be all suspicious, but if I hadn't just bought a canoe this spring, (after shopping all around, including Craigslist, didn't see any of quality like yours above for under $500) I would be all over a canoe like that for $200, that's ridiculously low price for a rig like that. It'd be worth a couple hundred even if it was stolen from roscopkoe and I got to return it to him.

I guess hopefully it is all legit, but it would be cool for the 1000 views on the AOD to turn up a stolen boat too.

If I'd been a little quicker I probably should have just gone and bought it (figured out who was selling it in the process) and then sorted it out from there.
