Default Colorful mountain scene on Kenai...

The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

it looks more natural but the as far as better/worse i have to go with worse just because the first one "pops" .

The first one does pop, but looks a little over saturated to me.
If you could find a point somewhere between the two images I think you will have a winner.

Damm Ray, I have never seen anyone agree with Drifter before

    ha ha...

Thanks for looking guys and I appreciate all the input. Always trying to learn. We get smarter as we go, or that is the plan at any rate.

Having fun with Lightroom? I decided to buy PhotoShop CS5 (Extended) at school. Could not pass the Educational discount. Also Nick's Software looks real good, specially Efex Pro. I am looking at this one carefully

    Ray,

I am loving Lightroom 2 and just the other day bought the Nik complete collection of 5 plug-ins. It was $299 for Lightroom 2, but with the disount code PPS, I got it for $199. I bought it from the Nik site and downloaded it. Awesome software for sure and it compliments LR2 nicely.

Dropped an image in Siver efex and 10 seconds later got this....

    Very nice image.

Yes, Color Efex Pro's actions save a lot of time and effort. I am buying just Color Efex Pro 3.0 (52 filters) at an educational discount for $149.00. But more than likely will only use less than 10% of the actions. I am using the demo version for the time being.
