I own a 6.8mm SPC in Rem M700 Tactical and have worked up a couple good loads for coyotes and other varmints, also have a deer load for short distances. I will go to the range on Memorial Day and shoot first load workup for Barnes TSX.
Here are current good loads...all with SSA brass, within manual specs:
#1- AA2230 27gr, WSR primer, Sierra PH 130gr, COAL 2.382", 0.56" groups at 100yds. (deer load for under 150 yards)
#2- AA2230 29gr, WSR primer, Sierra HPBT Match 115gr, COAL 2.260", .80 groups at 100 yds.
#3- AA2230 29.5gr, WSR primer, Hornady 110gr V-Max, COAL 2.362", .66" groups at 100yds.
Anyone else have a pet load for 6.8mm SPC(6.8 x 43)? I am going to try Barnes TSX 110gr tomorrow at range.
