The lower 6-7 miles is runnable in a small jet boat. Beyond that it's too rocky and shallow. Numerous private parcels and cabins along the lower river.
If cave men had been trophy hunters the Wooly Mammoth would be alive today

Also numerous private parcels/cabins on upper river. Quite a few ATV/snogo trails in the hills away from the river.

    Default Entering the Cosna

What is the best approach to getting up the Cosna River in a canoe with a small motor coming in from Manley Hot Springs? The small channel around the island, or the main channel?
