Default SIx Mile River Just Before Hope Turnoff

I was wondering has anyone ever fished six mile river a couple miles before the hope turnoff by the Seward Highway?? Every time I drive by that river I swear Im going to stop and throw a line. Obviously I never have but would love to know if anyone has and what results they have had. I figure there has got to be some trout and maybe some grayling.

It is subsistence fishing only for people in Sunrise, Alaska Just kidding........It is in the fishing regulations. There are HOG Kings, but you can't fish for or catch them. you can keep Two Silvers, Rainbows but you can't keep them, etc. Lots of fish, most you can't keep. But the biggest problem is where to fish from. much of it is class 4 or class 5+ water. Most of the great fishing is in top secret pools.
