    Default Ferrule sharpening...

    I've Thunderhead broad heads that blunted when I shot them into a broad head target & am wonderin' should I sharpen them or just buy new TH???

    if they're two blades use a lanksy,

    if they are 3 you can sharpen them using the 'scary sharp' sharpening method, google it, uses sandpaper works very well! I run to 1200 grit, you can go further.

    am not sharpening the blades, but the ferrule itself...

    I would buy new ones. I'm sure you could sharpen the furle...but not sure it's worth the trouble.
