    Default Yes

Generally, all lakes are open, streams are not (in the Palmer Wasilla zone). To find if a stream (flowing water) is open or not, check the exceptions list in the regs. Outlet and inlet areas of lakes are the most confusing. If water is moving inside the lake or pond, its not considered "flowing water" because its part of the lake or pond, which are excluded from the flowing water closure. The end of the lake and beginning of the stream is pretty much a straight line between the last two points of lake shoreline. Clear as mud, ey?

For Wasilla lake that means stay on the lake side of the Pal-Wasilla Hwy, and off Seward Meridian, where the first little bay opens up on the lake side of the road.
