Howdy from Western Colorado,
I've been watching this forum from the sidelines for a while now and decided to join a few days ago because I've got some questions regarding a hunt I'd like to plan. But before I get into the questions about the hunt itself I'm wondering if someone has first hand experience with the terminal ballistics of either the 425 gr. "Pile-Driver Jrs." or the 420 gr. "Crater-Lites"
in an 1895 45-70?

I'm going to work up a load for one of these but the lead time on the Crater-Lites is as much as 6 times longer.
(I was going to use the screenname 45-70 PileDriver but it sounded a bit WWE"ish")
