Hey folks, I'm not sure if this as been mentioned before but I figured I'll post it anyway. I was digging around on the Nikon website and I found a program that'll allow the shooter to match his/her scopes reticle to a specific cartridge.

You also have the option of changing the magnification, establishing the distance of a zero and a specific target. Once that is complete select "fire" and this'll provide the ballistic data.

go to www.nikonhunting.com then in the lower left hand corner you'll see spot on zero ballistic technology. Click on this section and let the program load.

Note: you will need to have Java installed on your computer to run this program.

I found this program to be very helpful and I'm sure it will be some wind in the sails for folks who just bought a new scope and are heading to the range.
