Default Places to shoot in Anchorage?

I'm moving up to Anchorage, I'll actually be leaving Sunday to drive up. Are there any ranges or anything around to practice on a regular basis?

    Thanks!

Rabbit Creek is on the south side of town. To the north, outside of Anchorage proper but still within the municipality, is the Birchwood Shooting and Recreation Park. There is also an indoor range out in Palmer.

Kincaid Park on the south side of the airport has a nice range maintained by the Northwest Archers Association. The static range is open to the public (10-80 yards). Three target loops are open to members.

Hey! That's not cool, man. I lived in Mountainview for a while...

...and I never got a shot off.

This is the list of everything up here state wide.

You will notice that Birchwood and Rabbit creek are not listed....that is because they are not archery ranges, rather they are firearms ranges.

At last check, there was an archery range at Rabbit Creek, down on the south end of the rifle range. Haven't been there in a while, so I can't say for sure if that is still the case.
