    Default pow fishing

any advise on where to find summer (june - aug) silver runs on Prince of Wales Island - particularly in the north end? Whaler pass is a
"given"; I'll be spending the summer there, but am hoping to find less crowded conditions & areas to try. Also, steelies in reach of whale pass? (I've heard that Staney creek still had bright fish in early june last year.) I'll have a boat & will be able to travel to off-road streams & estuaries.

Most Steelhead systems peak in late April and into early May. Then drop off very fast.

don't harrass spawning steelhead, each stream doesn't have to many, you might be able to find a bright one or two. You can apparently drive anywhere on that island.
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
