    Default Painting Lead Jigs

I wanted to add some color to my jigs. I have seen spray painted but with pounding the rocky bottom they chip. So I went to the store and picked up Tool dip.

The red coat has more of a rubber texture then the yellow one.

    Question jigs paint

Have you noticed a change in the catch rate as the original paint gets chipped off? I have a bunch of jigs in white and in glow in the dark pearl. Are the red and yellow colors better?

    Thanks, Randy

Sounds like a good idea. Let it know how it works out. I've used powder coat (okay) and appliance paint (better), but either one eventually starts chipping off. The appliance paint only comes in basic white, so additional colors would be welcome.

Last year for some reason we went out a couple time and the grubs with a top did much better then other colors.

I have used the yellow before painted. With a bright head I put a dark body on or a plain white.

The rubber coating will not peel off and will take a beating.
I will also do this for my mooching weights.
and will dip my canon balls for the down rigger.

    Default Different colors

Had a friend dip me backbouncing weights for the Kenai, did different weights in different colors, it made it easy to pick out what size(oz) weight you wanted to use, they have held up good.
