Default Bear hunting on the Alaska Peninsula

Anyone have experience hunting the upper half of the Alaska peninsula on the Pacific side? I understand it can get pretty crowded down there so I'm looking for some real life experiences in that neck of the woods. I'd appreciate any lessons learned or anything else you'd like to share. Thanks, Mike

short season, intense hunt pressure, anything withint 2 hours of king salmon will be busy..alot of guys try to do it "on the cheap" so the more money you spend the more likely you will be more alone. i've hunted both sides of the AK pen, more south than north, but flown over it plenty during the bear seasons...you'll see people. just plan on it. glass glass...if your good with the glass you'll find things others miss...
