    Default Fairbanks hatchery

    dont pay any attention to the news for the most part... is there any word on when the hatchery will be operational and when they plan to start pumpin out fish? any views on what this will do for the grayling fishing in the cheana... do away with catch and release?

    Based on the link to the ADF&G hatchery current issues web page at:

    the hatchery is scheduled to open in June of 2010. Looks like there is contact information their as well if you would like to ask ADF&G about grayling production.

    Default No catch and release?

    Why would they do away with the catch and release on the Chena?

    if they start pumping the chena with more fish why would they have a need to keep it catch and release?
