    Default Dear Holly

It appears that your rifle is from the period when Howa in Japan manufactured Weatherbys. They are some of the most accurate produced. Without looking at the condition of your gun I would guess that it would be worth between 650.00 and 1000.00. This is with the scope and in excellent condition.

You can find its actual date of manufacture at this site. They are nice rifles and I wouldn't sell it if it weren't possible.

I've got a Weatherby Mark V .300 Wtby. Syn. ser.#h263xxx that Weatherby said was mfg. 1994 Japan. Great rifle but not getting used anymore. Probably will sell it soon. Good luck with yours.
