Default Brown King Crab help, Juneau area

I'm looking for some guidance regarding Brown King Crab in the Juneau area. We're a smaller boat, 18', so we pack around only one large King pot when we go out and usually use it for dungeness (combo pot). Can someone suggest an area for fishing Brown King Crab?

    Thanks!!

    The ocean.

Sorry, I had to do it. Some jerk did it to me on here a couple of years ago so I figured I'd repay the favor to somebody else.

If I knew anything about fishing brown king crab I'd tell you.

Sorry. No answer here. In fact, I've never even heard of brown king crab. Red? Yep. Golden? Uh huh. Blue. Even heard of that. But brown? I haven't a clue. And for the record, the only thing I know about the others, is that they exist. Good luck.

HainesAKFisherman - Whatever. Sounds like maybe you should send me a PM too. But from my experience - they aren't as hard to find up in your neck of the woods.

Thank you for your advice! Sounds like we may need to get bigger(heavier) pots, a bigger boat (more deck space) and beefier pot puller! LOL!

    See ya on the water.
