So, I tore down the jet to drain the stator gear oil and check out the impeller. Wear ring has some grooves in it, the impeller looks pretty good. I have a clearance of .040 right now. That's pushing the max. So, shoudl I replace the wear ring with a factory one or is there some other ring that would be better? The boat runs really good right now, but the hole shot is getting weak. Any ideas?
