    There's no such thing as the "best" bow - just the best one for a particular user. I became convinced of that when shopping for a bow. Something that feels great in my hands might feel terrible for someone else's stature, shooting style, and preferences.

    Agreed. These polls are really more of the 'most popular' or 'most purchased' bow of the year and generally archers vote the brand they are loyal to. Few users IMO have held, let alone shot, a majority of the new bow's out in any given year. At best, some may shoot a few arrows in this or that bow before making their decision but the choices generally are limited to what the local shop has in stock.
