    Thanks goose, that was a great find. We'll be floating the Coleen in September and am looking for all the info I can find about it.

    I'll have to pick up the new book, the first one about him, Final Frontiersman was excellent.

    No problem,Thought the beaver pole was neat,never seen one done like that with so many snares,Are you doing a hunting trip up that way?

    Thought I might have missed something on the Korth's. I've enjoyed following them in print, etc.... since seeing Braving Alaska years ago.

    Aren't you a little long in the tooth for the term my bad?

    Awesome clip! Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed it so much I ordered the book from the forumn store.

    Interseting vid, 'Braving Alaska' and I read his "Last Frontiersman", so was good , some interesting, and some realy different stuff.

    Cerainly he's not the "Last" or the "First", but interesting nonethe less.

    My wife actually knows his wifes relatives from St.Lawrence Island, a cool factor.

    Thanks for that, it was very educational! I surprised at how sociable he was but I guess that just goes to show the stereotypes surrounding mountain men. I've ordered the book and can't wait until it gets here.
