    Default Dm 872 charter for 3 ?

Anyone have any suggestions for a dm872 charter for 3 guys out of kotzebueand gear to dm872? Also does anyone know if there are usually any caribou around there the second or third week of september? Thanks in advance for any advise.

Give Bering air a call at 442-3187. That's their charter line and if they don't ask them if anybody else operates charters out of Kotz.

Default Ram Aviation out of Kotzebue

We use Ram Aviation out of Kotzebue. There are only a few transporters there anymore. And yes there are Caribou there the 2nd and 3rd week of September. We will be back up there on the 17th of September. I know they have a few spots left because a couple guys I know just booked with them yesterday.

    Default Dm872

One more thing. I don't think Bearing Air is a transporter and I don't think they're one of the people that got a concession to fly into the Noatak National Preserve. DM872 is in the preserve so you will need someone that was issued permits from the preserve to take you in. We also drew one moose tag for DM872. Good luck!

Sorry about that. I had Ram's phone number and forgot to put it in the last post for you. 907-252-7880.

    Default northwestern aviation

Jim Kincaid is out of Kotz... we have used him numerous times and he and his crew are TERRIFIC!!! you can see them here:

He knows the region and is a very safe pilot. they run wheels and floats in the area.

    Good luck
