    Default Radars

Thinking about replacing the old Alpeco Radar on my boat. Alot of issues with the old one. Trying to keep the cost down. Anyone have any suggestions on package deals?

Furuno 1623 or even the 1715. Both are excellant radars. There are other brands out there but Furuno is the leader in radars and depth finders. Look at the commercial fleet.....90% run furuno.
I just did a lot of research before buying a 1623.

I just installed the Garmin 740s. Its a plug & play stand alone unit w/ gps, radar and sonar. I think w/ the g2 blue vision chip I have a grand total of 2900.00 into it. I have not tried it yet but I'll let you know when I do.

    Default Furuno 1623

Ive been looking at the 1623 on GPSstore.com. Right around 1300 for the package. Do you know how long the cable that comes with it is? From the top of my Arch to my helm is about 20 feet once I run the cables through everything.
