Default Anyone have a load for Sierra Gameking 250 gr. 338 Win. Mag with IMR 4350?

I need powder charges and approx. velocity from a 24 in barrel. I don't have the Sierra manual, just Speer, and Hornady.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Thumbs down 338 Win-250 GK

Very good bullet, but loses core under 100 yards.

    I use 72.5 with IMR 4350 with 225 TSX and 225 AB.

Sierra Book (1978 vintage) **** all my stuff is old...

    Anyway:
250 grain Game-king boat tail Back then they just called them Spitzer Boat-Tails

    IMR- 4350 70.2 grains = 2700 fps from a 1 in 10 twist 24 inch barrel. Primer was a Rem #9 1/2

Barnes Book: 250 grain flat base spitzer XFB
using a Federal GM 215M primer.
    65.0 grains of IMR 4350 = 2669 fps
    From a 24 inch barrel

Big powder charge difference between those two.

For comparson the NOSLER book shows 68.0 Grains of IMR 4350 for a 250 grain Nosler Partition. They show 2690 fps using a Remington Magnum primer, out of a 24 inch test barrel.
