    Default Valdrizzle Spring Fishing

Hey all, wrapping up the winter heli-skiing and looking to get the line wet. Anyone want to go fish? I'm looking for dollies or bows, fresh or salt. Would love some beta from anyone who has fished here in the spring. I'm thinking lake outlets and smolt patterns.

Valdez is the spot to which I am referring, if that was not clear, thanks.

I think you got it figured out, might be a bit early yet but I don't know... I for one wish I were skiing in the pass right now
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

    Default Nope

Skiing in the pass right now is not a good idea. Lots of heavy wet snow and rain the past couple of days with more on the way. Avalanche danger is way up.

Yep, Dave is right. Avy danger is on the top of the charts. Good day to go fishing. Did one heli run today and it was very sketchy to put it simply. Glad to be back in the flats.
