Yes, Fly Meekins like "Sheepman" said, he's right off the Glenn HWY near sheep mountain lodge, its not that long of a flight, you could get a good spot on some sheep on the way into Carpenter Creek....

    Smile Carpenter Creek area

I planned on gettin someone to fly me around the mountain 2-3 days before to spot the sheep, then walk in a day before it opens so i can be on them in the mornin. Im open to anything at this point, i didnt think you could land a plane anywhere in there, it would also be nice to 4wheel as far i can to save some energy for the climbin How much is this meekins guy?

He will probably put in at the glacier and it would be easy from thier after u get a look at the area u will probably reconsider and want to fly once you get above the treeline you have some serious humping to do and I mean serious.

More then likely he will land you on the river, about half way up carpenter, from there you can be into sheep in a matter of hours...hint #1 look back across the creek, that valley is called ram valley, and for a very good reason, river crossing can be a chore but doable....You might get lucky and find a good ram on the open face above the strip....FYI
