    Unhappy ATV Repairs, tranny woes...

I have an '04 Arctic Cat 400, (manual) transmission sounds like box of marbles. The estimates from "warrantied" repairman in ER said it's gonna be $1,200.00 in labor alone... OUCH! I know it's cheaper than buying a new one, but with parts and labor it will strip my pocket's bare. Any of you guys good with splitting cases and doing tranny repairs?

buy a manual from A/C and learn how its done. it may sound scary but its actually not that bad. factory manuals are not cheap but for what you spend in one hour shop rate you could buy the manual and fix other problems that may happen.

Are you a savy ATV mechanic? I have mechanical skills, just a tad afraid (too many parts cramed into one small case!)
