    Default Count of draw permit winners by location - top 20

    Here is a count of permit winners by location. Just a curiousity---it doesn't mean anything statistically other than it somewhat models the population distribution of the state.

    Actually there were 7,027 draw permits issued...

    Doesn't quite mirror the population, as Juneau is less than Delta Junct. Might have something to do with there being relatively few tags in southeast...

    As well as many other factors, not the least of which is the fact that many communties fall within Federally Managed Lands, thus their residents do not need to compete for the State Permits.
