Man, seems like everyone and their brother drew that one this year....myself excluded, of course. I've got two friends with that tag, though, so I'll get to join in on the fun of packing one out.

Hope I can be included as one of those friends Brian. I can always use a pack mule.

Yeah, don't leave me off that list either! Unless you would rather spend Aug 8th to 20th in the DCUA with me trying to chase ovis?

I'd be there in a second, Jon...except I have to be back at work on August 12th this year. I'll be scouting for sheep in mid July. If I find one, I'll try to be on him on the 10th and come home on the 11th. If I don't find one, I think my only option is to bowhunt the early season in 14A. Not my preference, but that's all I can pull.

I'd be happy to sherpa for you on a day/weekend hunt in the Kenai Mts, though. Just let me know.

If that's directed at me, don't worry - it's on my list.

When I said "that's all I can pull", I was referring specifically to the Aug. 10th opening of some seasons. That's all I can pull before I go back to work, but I've got plenty of ideas on how to occupy my weekends. I've been holding onto a couple for a few years now, so I think this will be the year to try a few of the back breakers that have been on my to-do list.

Good luck to all!! Take lots of pics to share for those of us who either didn't draw or didn't put in.
