    Gotta say though, I'd be scared to take out a canoe that perty lest I abrade it on the beach or hit a rock.

    Give us some details.....the photo angles make it difficult to determine size and shape....
    It looks about like an 18' tripper..... very nice lines with bow upsweep.....I hope your son picks up on your talents.

    The canoe is just short of 18' with a width of 36''and a depth of 13". Its yellow cedar planking and ribs with spruce and mahogany rails. Ash thwarts and seats . Mahogany decks. Sorry I don't have any better pic, apparently I stopped taking photos of it about ten years ago.
