Great flies, bowdy! Nicely done. They'll catch some fish for sure.

I too have been toying around with some mini-dolly llamas. Great minds think alike.

Figured I would show off a few of my ties from the winter. Nothing special but it kept me entertained.

I really like the mouse patterns, I wanna tie a few ad try some out. Never really fished a mouse patter but I would be happy for the rest of the summer if I could get a big ol trout to nail one!

catching a rainbow on a mouse pattern is going to be my goal for this year. I figure I will start throwing as soon as the river re-opens and I wont stop until I land one.

    Default the golden hour...

    nice mouse patterns...

I haven't heard of any folks ever mousin on the kenai but I can attest to their worth on SW AK rivers during the golden hour of dusk and well after sunset... dry fly action AK style!!

good luck and I hope you nail a few!

I'm gonna catch a bow on a mouse on the road system this year, I know just the spot too, and it doesn't involve the kenai..

Mouse fishing is probably the coolest fishing I've ever done, big rivers, spey rods and skating flies to big fish... FREAKING AWESOME
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
